King Salami and The Cumberland Three (London-UK)
London’s greatest and most sensational rhythm’n’blues-punk band is a one that truly represents London, being a mongrel mix of Caribbean, France, Japan, and Wales.Their repertoire influenced
by many of the great songs of the ’50s and ’60s made to sound fresh and new to modern ears. You won’t be able to help but move your feet when the Cumberland Three are blasting out of your
speakers. The King howls like Screaming Jay Hawkins with Bo Diddley chasing his coat-tail whilst Andre Williams tries to offer up some of his bacon fat, and the Trashman do the Surfin’ Bird
behind him. This is a man that never stops shakin’ and twistin’ and groovin’. The Cumberland Three (former members of punk rock bands, including The Parkinsons) rock up a storm with their own
branded mix of vintage rockabilly, desperate rock’n’roll and stomping soul, with fire, energy, gusto and, above all, fun!
Their numerous vinyl singles and their debut album have sold like the proverbial hot cakes and this, their latest offering, is sure to do the same. This is an old fashioned singles band, one that puts out
one seven inch after another, all designed, and guaranteed, to get you dancing like a madman – and their long playing platters do exactly the same, with one hit record coming one after another. The
band has played pretty much everywhere in Europe, plus Australia and Japan (where they performed at the world’s largest Sumo wrestling championship in front of Emperor Akihito who
was unable to stop himself from tapping his toes along to the band’s up-tempo tunes), and more recently in China (Shanghai, Beijing, Nanjing, Wuhan, and elsewhere from big cities to rural
villages) and have shared a stage with the likes of the Standells, Pretty Things, Trashmen, the Mummies, Barrence Whitfield, Kid Congo Powers and King Khan, to name a few. Indeed, so well
regarded are they by the titans of rock’n’roll and rhythm’n’blues that they have a record release on which they share the grooves with the legendary Andre Williams! Whether on stage or on record this is one of the most exciting bands in rock’n’roll right now – they
are guys who know what it takes to make you move. Equal parts rock and soul, with a dash of funk and a healthy dose of blues and soul and a good bit of punk rock attitude, whether you’re at a club
show or in your living room you won’t be able to help yourself from shaking and shimmying. You can bet your bacon that they’re gonna be putting a tiger in your tank too!

Wild Evel and the Trashbones (A)
Being a savage kid lost in an era of uninspiring music the Staggers’ frontman, Wild Evel, teamed up in 2009 with part of former teenbeaters the Roadrunners to form a supergroup, providing serious garage punk at it’s best!
Take some of Billy Childish’s trashy guitar solos, some of the Miracle Workers’ and The Stomachmouths’ catching melodies, add the “three-finger organ”, invisible monsters and cavemen and you know what these guys are up to!
For sure the Trashbones have their roots in the 1960s U.S. garage punk, when teenagers started playing their own music, delivering their own ideas and ideals through tight and catchy lyrics telling the conservative society, “here we are”!
The sound, that these proto-punks produced is the same sound of the four Austrian freaks – succinct fuzz-guitars, farfisa organ, furious drumming and wild, howling vocals that represent a 100% hi-octane Rock’n’Roll attitude.
Besides the sound, Wild Evel & the Trashbones also stand out with their untamed live performance for which each member pushes his plan through! On the drums you might be tempted to have found Keith Moon’s reincarnation, while Wild Evel shoulders his organ to start a solo!
Since their formation in February 2009, the Trashbones have been touring from all over Europe to Russia, where they were delighted to present their distinctive sound and furious live performance at numerous club gigs and remarkable festivals.
